Do faculty and students have access to current online editions of the New York Times, Newsday, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal or other newspapers?

Answer

SCCC users have access to current New York Times  online though NYT Academic.  To create your NYT Academic account, sign into MySCCC from this link and follow the instructions. After creating your NYT account, you can access the NYT at: https://www.nytimes.com/.   You must use your SCCC email account to register.

Current issues of Newsday are accessed online through the U.S. Northeast Newsstream database  https://libguides.sunysuffolk.edu/databases/newspapers, while older issues are available online through the Newsday Historical Archive 1940 - 1985 database (see the link above).  Newsday is not available in hard copy through the  College libraries.

Wall Street Journal is not available through the College libraries in any format but very well could be available through your public library. Please check with them (just give them a call).

Washington Post is available online and can be accessed through the Newspaper Source Plus database (see link above).   Washington Post is not available in hard copy though the College libraries.

You can search for a variety of local and national newspapers by their title by clicking on https://libguides.sunysuffolk.edu/databases/newspapers
