Part of the research process is deciding on a topic and brainstorming key words to kick start your research. SCCC Library has created a variety of video tutorials that can help you with your research including one on Keywords, found here.
We also created a Research Paper Toolkit that can help you.
Opposing Viewpoints Database is great place to find research topics on current events.
For using different keywords, try consulting an online thesaurus or Thesaurus.com
