Where can I find nursing textbooks?

Answer

Nursing textbooks are available for purchase from your campus bookstore.

Nursing faculty often put the course's textbook on Course Reserve at the library. This means that there is one copy available in the library for students to use. Textbooks on course reserve can be checked out for two hours and can NOT leave the library. Scanners are available in the library for student use. Use the Course Reserves option in the drop-down menu of the OneSearch box, found on the library homepage, to search for textbooks on reserve.

Certain textbooks may be available as eBooks in STAT!Ref. For example, Olds' Maternal-Newborn Nursing & Women's Health Across The Lifespan - 10th Ed. (2016).

You can search for nursing textbooks in the library catalog but the library generally does not carry textbooks. Go to the library homepage, type the title of the textbook into the search box, change the drop-down option to Books & Videos, and hit the search button.
