What is the DSM V (DSM-5)?

The DSM V, Diagnostic Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, is the most accepted diagnostic tool for mental health professionals in the United States.  It provides the criteria to diagnose a patient with a specific mental health disorder.  The current edition of the manual is the 5th, which was published in 2013.
SCCC Libraries provide an online subscription to the DSM V.
