How do I format the Works Cited page in MLA style?
Answer
Start the "Works Cited" page on a new page at the end of a paper.
- Entire page is double-spaced (no additional spaces between the citations)
- The top right holds last name and page number.
- Alphabetize citations.
- If a citation is longer than one line, format each entry using hanging indent, i.e, all lines after the first are indented 5 spaces or 1 tab.
