How do I format the APA References page?
Answer
Start the References list on a new page at the end of your paper.
- Center the title, References, at the top of the page.
- List all resources in alphabetical order by the last name of the first author. If there is no author, list the resource by the title and place it in the appropriate alphabetical listing.
- Indent (5 spaces or 1 tab) any additional lines of a citation after its first.
- Use double-spacing throughout the page. There should not be additional spaces between citations.
