Q. What is a W grade?

A W (Withdrawal) grade means a student withdrew from a class.  The grade will not affect their total GPA but will appear on their transcripts.
Students can choose to withdraw from a class up to a certain point within the semester.  After this time, the instructor will determine their final grade (which could be a W or something else).
