Depending on your campus, you may or may not be assigned a faculty advisor.  Whether you have been assigned an advisor or not, you can choose your own advisor.  It is highly recommended that you choose an advisor within your degree program.
If you need advising or would like more information about choosing or contacting a faculty advisor, you should visit the counseling center on your campus.  The information for these centers is available in the link below.
